Meet the team

Emma Taylor, Clinical Director

Emma is a Clinical Nurse Consultant specialising in children and family's mental health. Emma has become widely known as a UK leading Clinician in using digital tools to promote preventative mental health support and has won multiple national and international awards for her work.

Passionate about creating evidenced based content for everyone, Emma started working in the industry by creating content for the press and journalism and now regularly writes content with creatives and supports on screen talent to get the best results.  

​

Emma's down to earth nature and bubbly personality means she can often be found working with families on camera or offering expert commentary. She has a recurring role as lead mental health advisor with BBC's Tiny Happy People Campaign and has featured as a clinical consultant with a number of media projects including the BBC, ITV, Google, Cosmopolitan, Women’s Health and The Sunday Times.

Maddie Wood, Senior Play Therapist

Maddie is a qualified Child-Centred Play Therapist with the British Association of Play Therapists, having qualified with a Masters degree in 2017. Since then she has worked as a children’s mental health specialist in CAMHS, working closely with both children and parents affected by a range of difficulties. Maddie currently works as a child and adolescent bereavement therapist at a hospice; using Play Therapy and a variety of creative techniques to help children express themselves. She is also a qualified primary school teacher and taught a range of primary age children prior to completing her Play Therapy training.

Maddie's empathic and relatable personality means she features regularly as a specialist commentator in a number of campaigns including BBC's Tiny Happy People, BBC bitesize and Embers the Dragon. Her love for play and creative means she can often be found thinking up new activity and games

Raoul Lindsay, Senior CBT Therapist

Raoul is a qualified CBT therapist with experience working in the NHS and private sector supporting children and adults with concerns around low mood, anxiety, relationship difficulties and more. Raoul has a specialist interest in identity and cultural issues as well as experience supporting athletes with stress and anxiety or post injury.

A Dad of one, Raoul can often be found fronting mental health content for Fathers and is a staple of the BBC's Tiny Happy People social campaign.
